On The Bluff Labradors is driven by a desire to change this.\r\n\r\n<span>We are, what we like to call, alternative breeders. What we mean by that is we do not go along with a lot of the current procedures that are being advocated by the animal medical establishments.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span>The four things that have changed drastically in the last 50 years are: the way we feed our dogs, immunizations, the treatment for fleas and ticks, and neutering. We feel these four things have greatly contributed to what is happening to our dogs today. <\/span>\r\n\r\n<span>What we recommend is a diet that consists of food that is fresh, raw, and is more designed for what nature intended, no neutering until they are fully grown or not at all, alternative, more benign ways of preventing, and\/or treating fleas and ticks, and a minimal of vaccinations. <\/span>\r\n\r\n<span>Just remember, the animal business is a multi billion dollar industry that sometimes is more concerned with the bottom line than our animal\u2019s health and because of this, will continue to promote procedures that studies have shown to be harmful.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span>There are many studies to back up our thinking on these matters and you will receive copies of
